Package description

Commonly caught fish include: Dorado, Tuna, Mackerel, Marlin, and Sailfish Note: These packages are made for the professional fisherman. Please note that all our packages can be adjusted to meet your specific needs.

Detailed Itinerary:

1st Day:

 Pick-up in Managua or Leon, take a leisurely one hour drive on a paved road to Puerto Sandino. Board our water taxi for a 200 meter trip to our island and get you checked into your quarters. Relax for the rest of the day on the island. Get an early night sleep to the sound of the surf crashing on the sandy beach. Sweet dreams!

2st Day:

Up bright and early for a delicious complementary breakfast at the restaurant, then out to sea for a day of fishing action. Enjoy a full day of fishing and return to the lodge. Upon return to the lodge, enjoy some refreshments and relax. The staff will cook up your fresh fish dinner (or alternative). Retire to the “Sand bar” to enjoy good conversation and watch the fishing video.

3st Day:

Another great fishing day in a different coastal area! Following your fishing day, you will have a number of options in and around the island. You can swim, boogie board, surf or discover the expansive estuary area. Sunset cruise, star watching or more night fishing and other options!

4st Day:

 In shore fishing along the southern coast, or other fishing options. Once back on the island its time for some hammock time.

• We’ll prepare and cook (with the usual extras) the catch of the day by BBQ at our new kitchen or on the beach.

Day trip tours (any of the two options):

1. Tamarindo river tour- Iguanas, birds, fishing, mangrove, etc.

2. Island walking tour- A nature walk around the island, beach, shell collecting, petrified forest, birds, mangroves and habitat.

3. Bottom fishing for red & white snapper, snook and grouper.

4. Historic León tour for an evening on the town.

5. Whale (seasonal) and Dolphin watching.

6. Surfing, wake boarding and enjoying the sandy beach.

 7. Sunset cruise with glass of champagne.
